This is my guy, Edgar. He has the best personality and is very active yet docile, as far as bettas go.

Edgar's aquarium is currently a 28-litre nano cube with sand substrate, live plants, mopani wood and a half coconut cave hideout. I know this is a sufficient size for a single betta, but it somehow feels too small for him. I am ready to pull the trigger on a 67-litre aquarium upgrade, but I wanted to know if adding 8 pygmy corydoras and 8 cherry shrimp alongside Edgar would be an acceptable stocking level for a 67-litre. The online calculators say it's fine, but I'd rather a knowledgeable human confirm. Any advice is most welcome. TIA!
