I saved him from a little cup. He had two different eyes and no fins and this is the only remnants of his past. He just swims like this I don’t know. Is there medicine or anything that can help him with?

Now I am no expert but it looks like a swim bladder issue. I would monitor it for a little while and see if it improves and look into what swim bladder issues look like on different fish.

So let’s say you’re positive that it’s a swim bladder issue: If you’re interested in medicinal options you can try either a salt dip or bath. There’s different kinds of salts and they’re all used for different purposes. For your case use Epsom salt, like the stuff you can get from a Walmart. Make sure on the bag it’s 100% magnesium sulfate with no additives, no essential oils, etc… It helps with digestion and swim bladder issues. Just please do your research on exact directions on how to do it properly and how to get the proportions of aquarium water and Epsom salt to be correct.

I have tried a salt bath before and it helped a lot for my fish. He was suffering from the new tank syndrome and his swim bladder took the brunt of it but he bounced back after the salt bath. I wish the best for your finned friend! Update if you can!
