Betta Fish: ms. jade ate one of her tank mates and was put in time out

it seems to have worked… for now. the lampeyes are new and i think their eyes attract her. this morning i watched her eat one whole and was just like😟 i put her in a plastic cup and floated her for a few hours and she doesn’t seem to have any interest in them anymore, she might’ve learned her lesson but we’ll see😭 she’s normally very peaceful. used to be in a sorority with no issues and even leaves shrimp alone so that kinda shocked me. no hesitation whatsoever💀
