shop around on that Ugly Stik. they are being updated and that is the older model. They are half price on the Ugly Stik website

I’d definitely consider this beginner tier gear. Nothing wrong with that, but if you want a solid, dependable intermediate rod I’d look at the Dobyns Fury lineup. IMO they’re the best bang for your buck rods on the market.

Daiwa Aird-X as a rod would be my first recommendation for a budget mind rod. Its gonna be better than a Ugly Stik
