I was doing some digging here. I've found out that the ugly stick gx2 is a decent rod for beginners but idk if I got the right one now looking g at it closer it says ultra light should I return this and get the medium? I also have some ugly stick dock runnners that I've had for a while and was looking to replace the reel. Would the shimano FX 2500HG be a good replacement for the dock runner?
I have attached pics of the Gx2 and dock runner with the reel.
