this penn pursuit 4000 was given to me and its pretty worn out and the end cap that tightens to the handle is missing and the handle is pretty beat up. i was wondering if penn sold handles individually?

You can try contacting Penn? But the problem is, the reel you have is ancient. I have a very good feeling that Penn no longer has the parts for it. Besides, the Pursuit is a $50 reel new, you can often find it on sale for much less. Odds are you can find a current gen new pursuit for the price of the handle.
We’re quite a few models ahead of that now, doubt Penn would be stocking handles that fit that. May be new reel time.
