It's now been a few months and we've found a nice balance! I think it might be a little crowded ( currently in a 2.5 gallon tank but looking at a 10 or 15 since I'm enjoying it so much) but this is my first time with a Betta tank. He is not aggressive with the 2 Danios!
If anyone has any tips on what the cloudy water might be, please help! It doesn't get any cloudier if I don't do weekly water cycles so I'm not sure what it is.
The roots are pothos, hoping they help keep the tank clean.

Honestly bro , 2.5 gallons for a betta AND 2 Danios ? Man your betta ALONE needs minimum 5 gallons to be happy. That’s alone…. Not counting the other 2 occupants 😅 so here’s what you should do tomorrow, go to petsmart and get a 10 gallon tank for 15$ “yes that’s all” super cheap and they will be so so much happier together. But IF you don’t have the money or space. They also have 5.5 gallon tanks for 12$. Go on the website and pull it up and show it to the cashier and they’ll match their online price. It’s what I did
Oh and btw, your betta is one of the coolest colors I’ve seen in a while! He looks friggen sweeeet 👍
