Ive recently bought some snails from a shop ive never bought from. But the aquariums they had seemed clean and healthy. Today i noticed this kind of algae growing in form of a thin layer on the watertop as well as in the roots of some of the plants(though the latter doesn’t bother me that much)
Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?
I have currently turned the lights off, the aquarium is in a dark corner so it shouldnt get much light.

How often do you keep your light on ???
And try removing some plants from the tank
Not all just a few plants and see cause I’ve never worked with above water plants
