Weighs around 4lbs with the water and bait, usually chicken. I have a little carp box but left it with someone in KY so they could fish. There's also 30lb leader line and a hookless gar lure I forgot to get out. They're fun to catch but I never keep them.
I fish quite a bit but don't buy a lot. I have a single tray tackle box with replacement tackle and a handful of your classics. Plopper, crawler, frogs, torpedo, flippers etc, a dozen or so rooster tails. That's about it.

Crappie nibbles and a 6′ tape measure? A bit optimistic aren’t we?
I need to make myself one of these. This looks like a really good idea for river fishing. Still trying to figure out how to hook a net to myself.
