I noticed a buildup of surface scum and couldn't get my hands on a suitable surface skimmer for the Fluval 307 in a hurry. So I decided to design and print myself a custom one for the time being. It seems to work great, but I'll have to wait a bit to see the results.
I'll try to post a link to the models later. Right now I'm happy it turned out ok, and I didn't have to spend much money on it. This can be a quite expensive hobby, but it also offers plenty of opportunities for diy:ers and makers.
