Should i buy another one?

Well for the last few months I've been using a daiwa whisker for my float fishing… Now there's a discount and I could get a brand new one for less than a used one would cost in my country. I would pair the reels up with a light 12 ft twin tip rod to catch smaller species like perch, chub and dace. Granted I'd probably have to switch the line clip so it doesn't damage the line when I'm casting but it still seems like a good option…Should I pull the trigger or look for something different?
