I prefer baitcasters, but my favorite lures are small inline spinners. (Too light). This has been my compromise. It’s kinda silly but has been wildly effective.
Caught this fish off of a fallen tree using a 3/8oz strike king jig, black and blue. My scale said it weighed 6lbs. Posted by bronzebackbass1
