I came home from 2 day vacation to these worms all over my tank glass. Iven ever seen them before, but i do have a budding bladder snail population from a hitchhiker. Im not sure if maybe it came in with them and the plant. Aside from the plant and the snails that popped up i have not added anything to my tank in over 6 months. My first thought was planarians. They do look flat and white and are on glass but even under microscope they do not have a triangle head or visible eyes, mayne they're just too small to see it yet. I could not get video from the tank, it would not focus on them. They were moving quite fast for their size. They are all less than 1mm long and move smoothly like they're gliding on the glass. The video is from my microscope so i apologize for quality and shakiness. Theres 2 in video ones no longer moving. Also i dont really care about the bladder snails, seeing how they are a pest in there, but i do have 2 nirite snails, a bristlenose algae eater and 8 fancy guppies i would like to not be harmed. Do i need to do anything or are these fine in there. Also treatment says it kills snails, how would i go about treating without killing my snails. I have a tank they can be in temporarily if needed. Thanks.

  1. They could be rhabdocoela but they look a bit more like frontonia or maybe paramecium. What magnification are you using? They look like theyre covered in cilia to me.
