Only been able to cast in yard, needless to say I had to borrow some of the neighbors yard as well. Smooth as silk and the spool audible is amazing.

I also like the added firmness over Heavy. I would say I need the 10.1 as well, it is a need not a splurge as I fish the local canal systems with the bank being 10 to 15' above the water line, so I have a lot of dead space where I am not in the water and need to retrieve faster to get more casts in.
It's amazing in comparison to the $100 reel and $100 rod I've always bought. Can't wait to take it out on the water.
