Caught in northern Lake Huron between Drummond Island (Michigan) and St Joe Island (Ontario). No clue what it is, but it looks kind of like a cross between a herring/whitefish and something brownish and spotted (maybe a trout?).

Not a world record.
That’s a spottail shiner. And what would make you think it would be herring(Cisco), whitefish, or trout? Your first indicator is that there’s no adipose fin.
