15 gallons with lots of plants and makeshift caves which the mollies like to swim around. I haven't really observed any aggression from the rest of them except for a small one chasing a big fat one. I'm looking forward on getting a plakat Betta, I've been eyeing one for a month and it seems peaceful and doesn't really react much when I put my finger to see if it would flare but no it didn't. It was also not lethargic at all, it was eating fine and swimming well.

You can, but I’d have a backup plan just in case. Bettas van vary temperament wise.
