I’ve been fishing a few times but never had my own gear. Was just gifted this awesome Plusinno telescoping rod combo with all these hooks and lures. Any recommendations on what to add, change, or avoid? Mainly going after bluegill and bass.

im a huge fan of plushinno personally. very cheap, very good.
for bass and bluegill, i dont see anything youre missing as far as terminal tackle goes. id get some lures and soft plastics.
my number one recommendation for bluegill, is pink panfish powerbait. shit is irresistible for them stupid little guys.
for bass, soft plastics wise im a googan fanboy, but zoom and yum are also good. yoto worms and yamamoto are some other favorites. i like football jigs, and chatterbaits, both with trailers. get a popper and maybe a popping frog. whopper plopper and a few different spinner baits/ bladed baits/ buzz baits.
