Typically You need a Ned jig head to use those plastics. The 3/0 offset hooks are a great size to use, grab some senkos, some bullet weights and tie on a Texas rig. Or get some circle hooks as well and wacky rig the senko. A senko is a great bait to start fishing with.

First time with a Ned rig or first time fishing? It looks like you’re missing a jig head for a Ned. With what you have in your hand you could throw a wacky rig. Just tie one of the hooks on and put it sidewise through the middle of the worm. I have had good luck with it. If you are gonna get more bait I would pickup some 1/4 jig heads so you can properly Ned rig those worms and some 5” worms in pumpkin green. You fish them the same way, let it sink to the bottom and then bounce it up a foot or so and let it sink again.
