Any pond in Florida probably has a bass over 5 pounds in it. New PB.

Been fishing this pond for a couple months and caught a about a half dozen 1 pounders, everything has been under 2 pounds. 6 pounds on the dot, I still can't believe it. So stoked.

I was shaking with excitement when I finally landed him and felt the heft of the fish in my hands. Had to pull him out of some 3 foot tall plants at the edge cause the line got wrapped in them.

For anyone wondering he bit a cheapo white strike king swim jig from Walmart. Hooked perfect on the top of the mouth.
