this is my new ten gallon tank with one male betta and a mystery snail. i let it cycle for a week before stocking to make sure that it was all ready, and they all seem okay so far!! i’m planning on adding more plants to float on top and to my background, especially behind the vase. i’m also planning on adding one more mystery snail and maybe a few shrimp once i’m more experienced!! the edges on the ceramics shards are filed down so they wont hurt his fins, and all ceramics in the tank were made by me so i know the glazes are non toxic and food safe. i have a sponge filter and a heater, and feed once daily with pellets. i think i’m going to incorporate blood worms soon though!!
is there anything i could be doing to make my fish and snail happier?
my betta doesn’t have a name yet, and my snails name is jake (like jake the dog from adventure time, i’m hoping to get a second and name them finn :)) if you have name suggestions for my betta let me know!! i want something kind of artsy 🙂
