Aquariums: Switched the light on my betta tank. Plants weren’t doing well but just a change in lighting made all the difference.

Betta seems to love hiding in the water lettuce but they kept dying. I have another tank with an abundance that uses a nice led light that I was taking from when it would die.

I had reason to believe it was the lighting that was my problem for the betta tank because it was a florescent light. I bought a more or less random clamp desk light that was led to test the difference. Plants are doing better than ever now and the tank looks better in my opinion.
