Thanks in advance for the advice. I saw the most recommended rod is the Ugly Stik GX2. I live by the ocean but currently don’t fish and would like to pick up this hobby. I’m looking for a rod and reel combo I can use to fish from the wharf and rocks as well as lakes such as Bass Lake and Lake Tahoe. I’m also looking for two rods, and I’m willing to spend +-$100 on each of these are junk.
