This is my first fish (beta). This is his tank so far but I’m a newbie and want to see if anyone has any critiques or suggestions.
(Also in case anyone notices the thermometer to the left is one I use to double check temp, there is a thermometer in the tank as well.)

Did you use a meat thermometer to check the water temp? I do that too lol.
Everything looks really good. The live plants are really important as is the heater. Next most important thing is making sure you get the right fish for your size tank AND do not over stock. Good luck and have fun!
