This guy has been going for almost two years now. It’s 4 ft x 4 in x 4 in making it about three gallons. It’s filterless and inhabits four males guppies, a few shrimp, and lots of snails. The only maintenance it really gets is a top off every few days and occasional water changes. The light isn’t typically this bright and runs for 8 hours a day on a timer.

Does having more surface area make it okay to keep guppies in a 3 gallon? That’s a wild ass tank tho 😂 I’d like it if it was a bit wider, where’d you get it? You made it?
