Finish cinching it down, looks alright enough. I test out my line to see the break strength with my hands. My knots either break easy or they don’t. It’s easy to test it out by hand.

I would like a longer tag end when the wraps arent cinched right down, as you have here. give it a solid pull, see if you get any slippage. careful with the hooks. dont get hooks in your hand.

Cut and retie for the practice. You want the line to sit nice and tight without a gap between the twists. Wet the line before you pull it tight, and once you get the hang of it your knots will be perfect. I pretty much only use Palomar knots, but improved clinch is reliable.
