These little things on a black Bitsy bug is what cracked the code at this little pond by my parents new place. Average to quick retrieve right from hitting the water.

I have caught exactly one dink on a wacky worm in 7 trips before today. Have thrown all my topwaters, spinners, chatterbaits, Bugs, creatures etc. Nothing. Today, hot as hell and clear skies, little breeze. Wore. Them. Out. The only one over maybe 1.5 spit me out on an epic jump smh. Few legit dinks but a great numbers day! Hit about 10 in an hour.

I like their soft plastics TBH. People like to hate on them because their not durable, but they wouldn’t work so well if they were all stiff. It’s like buying Yamamoto worms. They’ll work, but they ain’t going to last.

My main gripe with Googan is that they essentially copied many different baits from other brands, but did a worse job at the same price to consumers. The Klackin craw, bandito bug, and the saucy swimmer? All Strike King knock offs. They’re entire hardbait line? Strike King and Megabass knock offs. The only nice thing now is that a lot of stores and online suppliers are clearancing out Googan products so you can get some baits for hella cheap.

About anything said for Googan could said for any other legacy brand in the market.
