Holy wow! Yesterday evening was by far my best session I've ver had! Mind you most of my fishing was done sub 7 years old. Took a little over a ~20 year break and upon the stunningly and unfortunately late realization that I've been living in one of the fishing capitals of the world, decided to pick it back up again at the beginning of May this year. This was somewhere in Broward County, FL.
This was my first time actually giving the Wacky rig a shot with my Abu Black Max rod, Kastking spartacus 2+ reel, 30 braid to a 15 leader, Yama senko green w chartreuse tip, and some size 1 drop shot hooks…I was SMACKING them, at least for my standards! They were all drinks, and here's the biggest one out of all of em, but it was literally back to back to back cast after cast catching them. It blew my mind. Caught a total of 7 in less than 45 minutes!! I only stopped because I ran out of senkos and had to walk home to get my bag haha. Im just super excited about it and wanted to share with yall. Ive never been that productive fishing, ever. Cant wait to fix my car so i can explore other spots and move on from this lake near my apartment. Tight lines!
