To give context, I bought the pole at a garage sale last summer. It’s a Walmart pole. No idea how old it was by the time I got it, but for it to snap on a 2lb bass, tells me the fiberglass hard started to degrade. I was so jazzed about this catch that I didn’t even care. Went home happier than a pig in shit. This is my biggest catch since I started last summer.
