Hello all, I’m leaving for 4 days on Thursday and just two days ago my sponge filter and air pump started making a loud, rickety noise and my sponge filter stopped producing bubbles. I looked up what to do and nothing worked so I ordered a hygger air pump and double sponge filter (old one was top fin). I read both instructions and did what I was supposed to, and nothing. I went to petco today and got a tetra whisper air pump and still, nothing. I think it is something to do with the sponge filter but I have everything connected, nothing is loose or broken, the check valve is on correctly, and there are no kinks in the airline at all. Pls help 🙏

can you just put tubing in the water to make sure it’s making bubbles?
There are times when sponge filter loses suction, but rarely ever not making bubbles.
