Purchased this rod for 40% off knowing the horror stories I’ve read on here. So many posts about reel seats breaking off the blank. But I also read about guys being able to fix them pretty easily with a little epoxy.
Trying some preventative measures by flooding the small gaps between the reel seats with very thin CA. I was surprised at the amount I was able to get in there. Seems like there’s too much space, where epoxy really should be. Fingers crossed this works, and was able to be happy about my new cheap rod…… 🤞
