I have a planted 10 gallon where I culture scuds, black worms, and snails for my pea puffers- and I'm wondering if there are any fish that wouldn't really eat too many of those inhabitants if I added them? Either someone with different dietary needs (that I'm happy to provide!!) or a fish that doesn't necessarily eat endlessly? I understand how the underwater world works so some eating is to be expected, but everything I've thought of so far would either engorge themselves or need a school that could do real damage

Yeahh im stumped on this one. You basically have a 4 course meal with desert in that tank. Maybe some of the smaller rasboras like chili or exclamation points? Otocinclus catfish also come to mind because they’re MOSTLY herbivores. Pygmy cories might take a couple worms.

At this point, I’d go with shrimp! The scuds might compete with shrimp for food so you might have to feed a little more.

If you have enough flow, you could get a bamboo shrimp if you want something bigger!
