My old adidas running shoes are trying to kill me. What are y’all’s preference for wading shoes?

  1. Been wet wading local stillwater in some crocs but I always prefer my regular wading boots for moving water and/or slippery rock

Chacos. Just with the caveat you WILL eventually rip a toenail off.

I got a pair of korkers shoes recently with the replaceable soles. They’re…ok. From the factory the insoles slipped back and wore a blister on the back of both ankles. I put a single layer of contact cement on the insoles and they stay put now. The replaceable outer soles are cool and work well but where they snap onto the back I’ve caught a bunch of vegetation and my fly line a few times. Take that for what you will.
