Barnabas popped up in my FB memories this morning. I fell so in love with him at the store, I went and bought a tank kit the next morning and went back to get him. He changed my mind about bettas, and I've been in love with them ever since. There's nothing quiet like starting the day with coffee sitting next to a betta tank.
Sadly, he caught graphite and passed much too soon. I kept bettas for another couple years after him, and now I'm back to it after about 4 years.
