My first fish – on a very tight budget

Just caught my very first fish on a fly. I’m a student on a very tight budget and managed to build a rod with £55 (Scotland).

I bought the rod in a pawn shop for £20. Reel is ancient and got it from eBay for £5. The line is Grays Platinum and found it on eBay for £10. Everything else, like a leader, few flies, and backing, I bought in a local shop where they advised me what flies to use and where.
