What kind of fish is this?

I caught a couple of channel cat and then this. I’m not very good at identifying fish. Didn’t put up much of a fight at all. Located in Kansas.

Side note, the second catfish I caught spit out a couple kernels of corn when I was unhooking him. Has anyone ever had this happen?
