Hello, here's my betta Finn. I bought him 2 weeks ago and after he acclimated to his new environment he's pretty lively. Then out of a sudden he became lethargic and always hiding. He's eating but he's not flaring anymore. Im guessing it's the light??? When it's turned off he's moving around. (sorry for the bad quality picture, my camera can't process the light)

my pH is at 7.2 nitrates are 20 PPM nitrites and ammonia is at 0.0 I used API test kit

I had the tank for 2 months now and my betta for 2 weeks

I do water changes every 2 weeks. I take out the fish poop and 20-30% of the water
* **Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each**: I have 8 Yellow pumpkin dwarf shrimp and 2 snails Apple snail and Ramshorn
* **What do you feed and how much**:
Im feeding him mosquito larvae and some bloodworms about 4-5 pcs per day
* **Decorations and plants in the tank**:
some low maintenance plants and some diy bonsai tree
Maybe some live plants to rest on or a floating log near the top of the tank will help. I’d throw some almond or cappatta leaves in there as well, some tannins mind set the mood for him
