Couldn’t be prouder to turn the 16yo loose on some high elevation backpacking and still water and haul in some fish. The hardest water to fish imo for the sake of casting, top water presentation, and patience – especially a beginner. Lost some flies to trees, rocks, and maybe a bad knot or two, but all was good! She caught the tiger on my gigantic ant.
