Just received a rod and reel combo called the penn pierce iv and I was wonder what is the absolute biggest fish I can catch with it? I caught a 29 inch striped bass off the shore but was wondering if it could catch baby sharks from 2-3 feet. Here are the specs:

Definitely should be able to handle a baby shark, with the right fighting and landing techniques
