Pic for attention. MidTN Cumberland river area. I’m a former bank beater now on an old bass boat. I am seeking some advice for these hot summer months. While I already got it down early morning and late afternoon structure and bank times. Should I just pack it up during the middle of the day or try for deep structure? How deep is deep? Do y’all throw heavy jigs or Carolina’s? How do I find these fish in a river system? Should I keep targeting docks and shade in the shallows even though it’s 95dgs out (haven’t been in two weeks I’d imagine the water is 80). Any advice y’all have for deep water bass will be appreciated.
I also set up a fly rod for some shallow bream to scratch the itch until fall. Thanks y’all.
