Yeah that’s fine, most plastic braces aren’t rlly holding much together (they are doing a lot but you should theoretically be fine)
If it was a glass brace I’d say probably not. Anyways just don’t put any weight (ex lids)

I wouldn’t trust that in my house personally. 55 gallons can cause a shitload of water damage. You have no idea when that crack will break all the way, or whether the seals may fail as glass starts bowing after. There are only 3 parts to a standard fishtank- the glass, the seal, and the brace. If any one is bad, the tank needs repaired or replaced.

I would definitely add a glass brace under that one.
If it’s breaking it’s because it’s holding something, if it was not, it would not break (unless you broke it in some other way).
