If anyone is on the fence about the conquest I highly suggest saving money and getting an nrx instead. Not only is it lighter but it’s vastly more sensitive. I’ll give the conquest its flowers because the spiral x can really muscle in big fish out of current. Even with the full torzite guide train and suffix 131 to sunline sniper
The sensitivity was pretty underwhelming it’s a beauty to look at but I can’t justify the price tag
The big redeeming factor of these rods is there taper. not your typical extra fast worm loomis stick can handle basically all finesse duty’s if your wading a river and trying to pack light
