Hey y'all! Ive just unearthed my dads old Abu Garcia 6600. I've figured out the missing part in the photo is the spool tension knob.
I live in Australia and unfortunately I can't find anywhere willing to ship a replacement to Aus. Can anyone tell me whether this part is necessary or have any ideas on how to replace it? Ive never used a baitcaster and I'm really keen to give it a go.
