I just purchased this feel brand new from Tackle Warehouse, and it seems like it’s not properly lubricated or grinding, or maybe I’m just crazy. But this doesn’t sound right to me.
This is my first casting reel that has friction breaks, so I am just wondering if this is normal.
Does it make that noise when you have the sideplate on? Sounds like the spool is rubbing but that’ll happen if the side plate isn’t on to keep it straight
