A couple hundred bucks. The market is flooded with old gas augers since electrics have come along. I have one almost identical I couldn’t give away last year.

Yeah unfortunately old gas augers are kind of like old tube tv’s. You almost can’t even give them away.

  3. Find someone in alaska or canada, the lower 48 market for these is garbage at the moment. Id never sell it if it works mint, buy a carb kit and spare recoil and stuff that bad larry in the barn. Just think, one day it your grandkids could dig it out and fire it up

I have the same one in my basement with a bad carb. I had planned on fixing it but at this point I’ll probably give it away for $20

I bought a brand new model 30 a couple of years ago for $150. I’d say free is the price of yours.

  6. I sold one that needed carb work for $50 five years ago here in Minnesota. I’m guessing now with everyone going electric you might be able to sell one in perfect condition for $50 at the very top end. Your target market are the young kids who maybe can’t afford electric and just need something cheap that will put holes in the ice.

The beauty of the model 30 is how reliable they are. Even if it breaks down and won’t run all you have to do is pick it up and drop. They’re so damn heavy that theyll still put a hole in the ice.

  7. There are currently two of the exact augers on offer in my area; one is $250, and the other for $100. First one has been listed for 83 days, while the other cheaper one has been on 146 days.

They will not sell, that I’m sure of. At this point you should find some youngster that is looking to get into ice fishing and gift it the them. I had a much newer Jiffy i30, I just gave it to a ball teammate that was using a hand auger.

  8. 10 inch Jiffy 36lb. Eskimo 8 inch pistol bit , clam plate and dewalt drill . 12 lb and no gas leaking all over 👍👍🐟🐟

  9. Man I used this auger exact model for yeeeeaaaars.

This was my first auger my cousin gifted to me when I was like 16, 10 years ago.

A little fresh gas and she’d fire up no problem.

  11. i never had a good ice drill but fishin in my shack, same holes all winter 7 months ,its tought drillin in 4 feet of ice for the electric i think i weould burn the 500 $ drill in one year… and the jiffy has a tough time sometimes

Fastest way I’ve ever had my ass kicked was by on of these digging up against a garage with tree roots ..caught my arm and beat me against the building for probably only two rotations lol I’m still impressed years later 😂

  13. I got one for free last year it was newer then that I flipped it for $50 after I cleaned it up, honestly couldn’t believe I got that much for it, everyone is moving away from gas

You just reminded me I have one in the basement. 😂 It’s been there for 10 years I just used a hand auger to be honest. Where I live we don’t get much more than 10″ of ice anyway. And from what everyone here is saying I might as well forget about it for another 10 years. Wonder what it’ll be worth by then? 🤔
