Either that or keep searching for the big ones. They don’t always occupy the same water but are often close by. I saw a couple guys on one of my favorite lakes last year which was odd enough, but they were right where I wanted to go. They had their backs to shore fishing bobbers and I didn’t see them catch a thing. They left, so I paddled over and had the best day of bluegill fishing I’ve ever had. Huge fish. Sometimes you just gotta keep searching, but you are right. Small fish are way more fun than no fish.
